Flaming Six Volleyball Club, located in the heart of Clapham, is a welcoming community that brings together volleyball enthusiasts of all levels. Our club is all about enjoying the game, creating a supportive and inclusive space where players can connect, compete and have fun whether at training, matches or social events. We hold regular sessions across men’s and women’s divisions at Elms Academy and Battersea Sports Centre, making it easy for players to join in without pressure, strict commitments or contracts. With a club spirit fueled by camaraderie and positivity, Flaming Six is as much about the social side as it is about sport. So, whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, come for the volleyball and enjoy the community!

    COYOTES COACH AND LLAMAS AC

    With over five years of coaching experience across the US, Ireland and England, I’m a player-focused coach who builds strong, supportive teams. A setter for the Flaming 6 Pirates with 20+ years on court, I blend technical insight, strategy and empathy to help players thrive. Part of Flaming 6 for nearly a decade, I’m as passionate about the game as ever on and off the court.

    RAVENS COACH

    I’m a passionate coach blending East Asian precision with Western techniques to create fun, effective training. Known for inventive drills like The Blinded Beggar and The Pancake Supreme, I keep sessions dynamic and full of energy. Trained at Thailand’s Volleyball Institute of Dark Arts and Volleyball England, I bring creativity, discipline and a touch of chaos to every session.

    LEOPARDS COACH

    Coach of the Leopards, I spent 20 years playing volleyball in France before switching to ultra trail running. But I missed the gym smell, the bounce of the ball and I’m too old to compete in both! Now I share my passion through vicious plays, sneaky tricks and sharp instincts. Leopards don’t just play, we hunt.

    I’m the Aces’ resident middle prisoner, known for my focus on technical skills—though in defense, it’s more “do as I say, not as I do.” I AC’d the Llamas for several years and now coach them, always happy to help players improve. My strategy? Simple: score more points than the other team!

    I grew up with volleyball in Italy since I was ten and got back into it with Flaming Six - countless injuries later, I still can’t stay off the court. Pirate on court, Leopards AC off court: best of both worlds, as a wise teenager superstar once said. Fueled by passion and good vibes, I make sure every player feels comfortable and ready to give it their best.
